Teton Canyon Ice

Last weekend Jack and I and Renny Jackson took the snowmachine into Teton Canyon to check out The Right Ghost. 5 degrees at the car made a cold start (or almost). After a jump start the 'bile was on the way. We were a little nervous about leaving it at the trailhead all day but figured worst case we would have to walk out. The ice was fairly big but a little airy. My first four screws were mainly air making the lead a little sporty. Renny really hung in there and lead Dean's mixed line Poltergeist which JT and i TR'd due the late hour. Back to the sled at dark for a cold ride out. Renny and I on the 'bile and JT waterskiing. BBBBRRRRR! 18 mph in 9 degree temps. JT got a nice ice hit to his face but survived nicely. Another great day in the hills!!
