New Years day skiing

New Years day Lucy and I joined Turbo and PJ (Maggie and Trigger too) for a ski on Kelly Mtn. Finally we have some new snow! It's such a beautiful place and so close to home. The girls took Maggie and Trigger on the lower road to the hut while Turbo and I skinned up Telehill for what we thought would be some fun powder. We were sadly mistaken. There was a foot of wet heavy snow on top of a foot of sugary crystals. We had to almost push our way downhill it was so heavy. Still a great wintery day furthering our tradition of skiing on New Years Day.
