Wednesday the 11th Turbo, Dean and I headed back to M/S Canyon to explore some new territory. A couple, Mark and Sarah who have recently moved to our area, joined us. They have been checking out our antics on the EI ski blog site. They fit in perfectly! Both experienced, excellent backcountry skiers. They didn't even complain about our version of skiing, lots of trees and obstacles with not many consecutive turns. We had a great day! Of course the now "Mandatory Cornice Huck" to start the skiing. I started it off in great style with my tips pointed down causing my right binding to release which started the perfect head plant.. It doesn't get better... I have included a link to the video Turbo produced of the day. I think he did a fantastic job capturing the fun....
