Lucy and I did our annual trip to Moab for some hiking, mtn. biking and climbing. Unlike past trips the weather was flawless with high 80's daytime and low 50's at night. A great hike up Professor Creek ending in a narrow, deep canyon with a twin water fall flowing around a huge chockstone. Most impressive. It was to be an 8 mile trip but turned out to be about 12 miles with 800 stream crossings. Maggie loved it as it was hiking up the creek all the way. That evening I did a short bike ride to Slickrock but didn't want to do too much technical terrain alone. Didn't want to miss happy hour either. We went to Indian Creek twice where I was able to get 2 routes in with Lucy belaying(nobody died!). My first "real" crack lead on a steep, pure crack second day. Lot's of hangin' and whining. We did a great hike to Corona Arch the largest arch outside of Arches Nat. Park. Very impressive! A great time was had by all.
