The 6th annual Teton Park bike ride. Usually around the end of March the park service plows the road into the park and opens it for bike and foot traffic until the 1st of May. This year was just a little colder than usual. We started out at 17 degrees. With lots of sunshine and no wind it was still pleasant. The picnic on the warm pavement was great! There is still a ton of snow in the park, as much as last year.

narrow road and 5 feet of snow

a picture (in the same spot as above) from the first ride in 2004. a little less snow and a little warmer.
